In 1964, a vibrant group of 24 passionate individuals united to create the German Canadian Harmonie Club, driven by an exciting mission to preserve and celebrate the rich tapestry of German heritage and traditions right here in Kelowna! Can you believe that within just five years, our membership skyrocketed to nearly 400 members? We came together for unforgettable card nights with our Skat Club, lively dances, delicious bake sales, and a plethora of fun-filled events that brought the entire community together!

Thanks to the incredible dedication of our original members—especially the amazing "Harmonie Bees" who tirelessly crafted and sold their delightful goods—we laid the groundwork for our clubhouse in 1976, with construction powered by our fantastic volunteers!

Fast forward to 2024, when we joyously celebrated our 60th Anniversary! What an incredible milestone that our founders could only dream of! We’re thrilled to maintain a vibrant membership of over 200 enthusiastic individuals and continue to be a buzzing hub for the community, hosting 12 or more exciting events each year for everyone to enjoy!

Our enduring success is a testament to the many spirited and dedicated individuals and clubs who infuse our cherished German Canadian Harmonie Club with life, laughter, and joy.
